Vertebroplasty

Vertebroplasty is a minimally invasive treatment for repairing spine fractures caused by the osteoporosis of cancer. Once the bone has been biopsied, the fractured vertebra (small bones that form the backbone) is stabilized with an “internal cast” made of bone cement to provide pain relief and prevent further spine weakening.
